NYC Vintage Subway Token - Ball Marker Set
Beyond being a perfect substitute for a ball marker, NYC Subway tokens are such a great symbol of NYC -combining ingenuity and practicality. First introduced in 1953 the tokens were then redesigned through the years as either the price of a fare went up or the city wanted to commemorate a milestone with a limited edition token. Every historical design is featured in this collection - from a few of the very first tokens of the 50s/60s, the "bull's eye" look of the 1980s, the pentagon-cut variant in the '90s as well as the celebratory limited edition token released in 1979.
